After months of practice, I finally got an opportunity to photograph my first wedding! A friend of mine asked me to help him with a coworker's wedding. She only asked for the ceremony to be photographed so it would only be a couple hours coverage. I was so excited! Finally I would have the opportunity to live my dream of being a wedding photographer.

When I arrived, I met with the groom and got to work taking photos of him, his family, and groomsmen. While I was waiting for the ceremony to start, I found the bride waiting in the hallway. I took the initiative to take photos of her while we were waiting for the ceremony to begin. Luckily, she was a model and made taking photos a breeze!

While I was taking photos of her, her father came to see his daughter for the first time in her dress. I was able to capture that precious moment and I was so happy. Seeing a father's love for his daughter is so beautiful! The tears were flowing both from Tannicia and her father. It was such a touching moment to witness.

The ceremony was beautiful and the vows shared were so touching. I admit, I was fighting the tears back while I was taking photos! I love a good love story and hearing their vows definitely tugged at my heart strings!

I was so happy I had the privilege to be a part of their love story and capture these wonderful memories that they will have forever! I wish Adrian and Tannicia all the best! I am so thankful to them for allowing me to be a part of their special day and helping me become a better photographer! I will forever cherish this day. It absolutely solidified my decision to be a wedding photographer. I have always been very passionate about love and what it means to commit to someone forever. Being able to capture those special moments for someone else for the first time was such a priceless experience!
